Let’s face it! Technology is here to stay, so we may as well embrace it. Take control of the access your child has to the tablet, phone, or laptop by setting time and application access limits .Not sure what they should do, or simply tired of hearing “Baby Shark” and “Johnny Johnny,” like me? Start with what they have been working on in school. Any time you are able to make home and school learning connections, do so. If your child’s teacher provides a “Week at a Glance” or a Weekly Newsletter that communicates what they are learning, use these as your guide. sed to being used as a babysitter. I know some apps can be costly, but there are plenty of apps available for download that won’t break the bank. I have even found apps that do not require WiFi or Internet access. This is great for travel and helps cut down the meltdowns.
