Fine Motor Skills is a developmental phrase we hear quite often. It simply means "small movement skills". These skills are important as they pave the way for children being able to do big things later, like feeding themselves, writing and dressing themselves, just to name a few.
There is always an opportunity to take it up a notch when it comes to working on fine motor skills. In the video I introduced different vocabulary words while putting a puzzle together. I like to call this "multi level learning"-building multiple skills while working on one activity.
